Frisco BPW Annual Wine Tasting June 18th 

Come join members and guests of Frisco Business & Professional Women at a Wine Tasting from 6:30 pm to 9:00pm on Thursday June 18.  Unwind after a long day, meet new friends, laugh with old friends and share a glass of wine.  Breathe that sigh of relaxation as you enter the door at Uncork!, a hidden treasure in Frisco.   Taste four different wines, share your thoughts and learn from some experts about great wine and food pairings.  Find a bottle or two you like and buy some to take home to your own table.  

The event will be held at Uncork!, a place of comfort, class and style.  Network with and meet other professional men and women from the area, bring a friend or business associate or relax with friends and family in this cozy atmosphere.  Uncork! is located at 2832 Eldorado Parkway, #212,  the S. E. corner of Eldorado and FM 423 in Frisco.  Proceeds will benefit Frisco BPW Scholarship Fund for Collin College.

The Business and Professional Women (BPW) is a national organization of women helping women through education, support and advocacy.  What makes the BPW stand out is the learning from speakers every month.  If you have limited time to give to yourself, you owe it to your personal growth to maximize every hour of every meeting.  At BPW meetings you will learn something new, you will meet someone in a different profession, you will have time to make a new friend, make a connection to get some need met personally or professionally, and have some fun. 

Frisco BPW meets July 2 for Power Networking

Once each summer the Frisco BPW holds its focused networking event where members and guests spend a few minutes face to face, one on one, with everyone in the room.  It may be quick, but this type of networking can jump-start your enthusiasm, give you ideas, connect you to new people, and get business in your door.  Join us Thursday July 2 and jump-start your summer season meeting new people, sharing your business, and energizing your social and business networks. Spend 2 minutes with every person in the room. This is the networking event members and guests ask for all year.  Bring your business cards, your brochures and your outgoing personality.  Be prepared to share your business needs and skills, sell yourself and your product or service, and learn about other incredible women and their businesses right here in Frisco.

Frisco BPW meets August 6 and learns how to Improve Your Memory

Do you forget dates?  Are you terrible with remembering names?  Come learn some tricks and tips to exercise your memory and improve your confidence with others socially, while networking, at the job and at home.

Frisco BPW meets September 3 and October 1 to Practice Leadership Skills

What are a few of the key skills that will help you become a better leader?  Come to these two BPW meetings and practice some skills which will make you say “a ha!”.  We will get up from the table and move, interact, play “games” and you will practice and analyze the skills that will help you become a better leader.  What can you learn about being a better leader in a 30 minute meeting?  Lots!  Come play with us and take away a new appreciation of the leader’s position in any organization, group or project.
